In short

  • The two releases are 21 days apart: EB-05 reaches stores on 30 Oct 2026 and OP-18 on 20 Nov 2026 (English versions, per Bandai's official site).
  • The English EB-05 box is already in stock in all three countries: from $299.95 in the US (3 shops), from €300.00 in Germany (1 shop) and from 830 zł in Poland (4 shops).
  • On Cardmarket the cheapest EB-05 box is €204.99, which is 31.7% below the cheapest German shop (€300).
  • In all three countries a pack from a box usually works out cheaper than the cheapest single pack: by 13.6 to 16.4% in the US, by 16.6% in Germany for OP-17 and by 5.4 to 9.0% in Poland.
  • Bandai has confirmed Nico Robin as the new Leader of EB-05 (EB05-010), six SP cards and, for the Japanese version, the rarity split: 7 Leaders, 29 Commons, 21 Rares, 9 Super Rares, 1 Secret Rare, 8 Special and 2 DON!!.

EB-05 "Heroines Edition Vol. 2" launches in English on 30 Oct 2026 and OP-18 "The Dominance of God" on 20 Nov 2026; the Japanese versions follow one day later. The cheapest in-stock English EB-05 box costs $299.95 in the US, €300 in Germany and 830 zł in Poland today, while an OP-18 box is in stock at just one US shop. Below: what is official about both releases, how prices compare across the three countries, and what to check before you buy.

EB-05 lands on 30 Oct and OP-18 on 20 Nov, three weeks apart

The two releases are 21 days apart: EB-05 reaches stores on 30 Oct 2026 and OP-18 on 20 Nov 2026 (English versions, per Bandai's official site). The Japanese dates are one day later, 31 Oct and 21 Nov 2026.

Both product pages list $4.99 per pack and tournament legality seven days after release. Cards are also legal from the pre-release at your local store, but Bandai has not given a pre-release date yet. The EB-05 page contains two conflicting legality statements, so ask your organizer before you register for an event.

Data: official product list and product pages on en.onepiece-cardgame.com, retrieved 29 Oct 2026. Prices are MSRP in USD, not shop prices.

Tip: the official pages do not say how many packs are in a box. "24 packs" comes from shop descriptions and the box artwork, so the $119.76 box MSRP (24 × $4.99) is our calculation, not a Bandai list price.

EN box prices in the US, Germany and Poland the day before EB-05 launches

The English EB-05 box is already in stock in all three countries: from $299.95 in the US (3 shops), from €300.00 in Germany (1 shop) and from 830 zł in Poland (4 shops). OP-18 is in stock only in the US ($349.99, one shop); in Germany three preorders are unavailable, and in Poland we found no offer at all.

Data: CardPulse, lowest in-stock English Booster Box offer in shops of each country, shops with stock in brackets, 29 Oct 2026, excluding Cardmarket.

US

In the US EB-05 ($299.95) is 3.2% cheaper than the cheapest OP-17 box ($310.00), while OP-18 ($349.99) is 12.9% above it. The OP-18 price comes from a single shop, so treat it as a reference point, not a market.

Germany

In Germany the only in-stock EB-05 box (€300) costs 15.4% more than the cheapest OP-17 box (€259.99). For OP-18 we see three English preorders at €139.99, €169.90 and €200, all without stock. Why these listings are unavailable, we do not know.

Poland

In Poland EB-05 starts at 830 zł (PokeCollect) and goes up to 999.99 zł, a spread of 20.5%. That is 16.9% below the cheapest OP-17 box (999 zł). For OP-18 we found no offer in Polish shops, neither in stock nor as a preorder.

Relation to MSRP: 2.5 to 2.9 times, based on our calculation

The box MSRP is our calculation: 24 × $4.99 = $119.76. Bandai only lists a USD price per pack, not a box price, so we make this comparison with US shop prices only.

On that basis the cheapest in-stock EN box in the US costs 2.5 times MSRP for EB-05 (+150%) and 2.9 times for OP-18 (+192%). For reference, OP-17 from 28 Aug 2026 is at +159%, EB-03 from February at +155% and OP-16 from June at +67%.

Bar chart: cheapest in-stock EN box in the US for OP16, EB05, EB03, OP17 and OP18 against the $119.76 MSRP
Cheapest in-stock EN box in US shops, 29 Oct 2026. The OP-18 price comes from a single shop, so treat it as a reference point, not a market.

Data: CardPulse, lowest in-stock EN Booster Box offer in US shops, as of 29 Oct 2026, excluding Cardmarket. MSRP = 24 × $4.99.

We left out two entries that are not market offers: an EB-05 listing at $9,999,999 and listings at exactly $119.76 for EB-05 and OP-18. Both were out of stock and look like placeholder prices (a hypothesis). NerdSnack's TCGplayer figures are close: about $320 for EB-05 and about $351 for OP-18, as read on 24 Oct 2026.

Cardmarket shows lower prices than shops, but it is a different kind of offer

On Cardmarket the cheapest EB-05 box is €204.99, which is 31.7% below the cheapest German shop (€300). Cardmarket is a marketplace with many sellers, so shipping depends on the seller.

Data: CardPulse, Cardmarket data for EN boxes, retrieved 29 Oct 2026. The lowest offer is a single listing; the 7- and 30-day averages are supplied by Cardmarket.

The lowest listing can sit far from the average: for OP-17 it is 26.9% below the 7-day average (€170 instead of €232.57). Treat it as a lead to check, not as a price you will always get. The OP-17 7-day average is 5.9% below the 30-day average (€232.57 against €247.16), while for EB-05 the gap is only 1.0%.

CardPulse price comparison page for the EB-05 booster box with shop offers and Cardmarket
EB-05 Booster Box price page, view from 29 Oct 2026. Cardmarket ($238.23, shipping varies by seller) tops the list, shops follow from $299.95; the $119.76 MSRP shown is the page's own figure. The "−52% over 80 days" badge compares the first data point ($499.99, 24 Oct) with today's lowest offer including Cardmarket; it does not cover 80 days of data.

The screenshot shows two things. The lowest-price curve rests on our data from 24 Oct 2026, so it covers a few days, not the time since the announcement. The steps in the curve mean cheaper offers dropped out of stock, not that the price really rose.

Single packs cost more online than one twenty-fourth of a box

In all three countries a pack from a box usually works out cheaper than the cheapest single pack: by 13.6 to 16.4% in the US, by 16.6% in Germany for OP-17 and by 5.4 to 9.0% in Poland. The only exception is EB-05 in Germany, where there is a single pack offer.

  • US, OP-17. Box $310 / 24 = $12.92 per pack; cheapest single pack $14.95 (−13.6%).
  • US, EB-05. Box $299.95 / 24 = $12.50; pack $14.95 (−16.4%), and only one shop sells single packs.
  • Poland, OP-17. Box 999 zł / 24 = 41.63 zł; pack 43.99 zł (−5.4%).
  • Poland, EB-05. Box 830 zł / 24 = 34.58 zł; pack 38.00 zł (−9.0%).
  • Germany, OP-17. Box €259.99 / 24 = €10.83; pack €12.99 (−16.6%).
  • Exception: Germany, EB-05. One shop sells a pack for €11, while the €300 box comes to €12.50 a pack (+13.6%). One offer is too little for a rule.

Data: CardPulse, lowest in-stock EN offers in shops, 29 Oct 2026, result = box price divided by 24; packs per box as described by shops.

If you want to open a lot of packs, buying singles online will not save you money. NerdSnack advises preordering at a local store close to MSRP, since online prices run much higher. That fits our numbers, but it assumes your local store received an allocation at all.

What is official, and what is only an announcement or a rumor

Bandai has confirmed Nico Robin as the new Leader of EB-05 (EB05-010), six SP cards and, for the Japanese version, the rarity split: 7 Leaders, 29 Commons, 21 Rares, 9 Super Rares, 1 Secret Rare, 8 Special and 2 DON!!. That adds up to 77 entries, or 75+2.

Other details are unconfirmed, so we sort them by reliability.

  • Official. Release dates, $4.99 per pack, 75+2 card types in EB-05 and 127+1 in OP-18, the Water Seven and Holy Knights of God theme of OP-18, and the debut of Saint Gunko and Saint Shamrock.
  • Official, with a catch. An erratum was published on 23 Oct 2026: card EB05-033 was misprinted as "O-Robi" instead of "Nico Robin". Corrected cards are not available in some regions, and Bandai does not say which.
  • Reported. A manga-style Shirahoshi card (EB05-014) and eight cards in a "Heroines SP" frame appear on card-list sites, but Bandai has not named them. Treat them as unofficial.
  • Unknown. The English pack's card count is not on the official page. Shops describe the English pack as 12 cards, while Bandai gives 6 for the Japanese one.

Data: official pages en.onepiece-cardgame.com (EB-05, OP-18, notice of 23 Oct 2026), shop guides by Samurai Sword Tokyo and NerdSnack, retrieved 29 Oct 2026.

For OP-18 Bandai has published neither a rarity split nor pull rates. NerdSnack cites community estimates from more than 1,000 opened OP-17 packs: about 7 Super Rares and 2 DON!! per box, one Secret Rare every 2 to 3 boxes. These are not official numbers, and whether OP-18 repeats them is open.

Read early single-card prices with care. In the TCGplayer data inside CardPulse all six OP-18 Leaders carry the identical price of $9.99, and the alt-art Loki from OP-17 and Saint Shamrock from OP-18 sit at $1,999.99 each. Such patterns look like placeholder prices (a hypothesis) before real sales begin.

Heroines Battle and the Gift Collection could keep demand for EB-05 alive

Around EB-05 Bandai has scheduled the Heroines Battle Vol. 2 event from 6 Nov to 6 Dec 2026 and a Gift Collection with two packs for $44.99. Both could hold interest in the set longer than release week, but that is our hypothesis, not data.

Heroines Battle is a store event where you may only play Leaders from the heroines list. The list includes the new Nico Robin (EB05-010), and alt-art versions of the listed Leaders are allowed. Player registration has been open since 23 Oct 2026 through the TCG+ app and requires a Bandai Namco ID. Each store handles sign-ups its own way, so check with your organizer.

  • Gift Collection GC-2026. Release 20 Nov 2026, $44.99, containing 2 EB-05 packs, 10 promo cards and 70 sleeves. Two packs at $4.99 come to $9.98, so the other $35.01 pays for promos and sleeves.
  • Event prize. According to the official page, both participation and the win give EB03-006 Nami; prizes are subject to change.
  • Legality date. Seven days after the 30 Oct release is 6 Nov 2026, exactly the day Heroines Battle starts.

Data: official pages for Heroines Battle Vol. 2 and the Gift Collection on en.onepiece-cardgame.com, retrieved 29 Oct 2026. The $35.01 is the difference between $44.99 and two packs at $4.99.

The new Leader will therefore be on store tables in November. If you want to play Nico Robin you do not need a box at release prices; a few targeted singles will do. NerdSnack suggests waiting a few weeks for single-card prices to settle. If you collect sets, the collection tracker counts cards and products separately.

The Japanese version costs about half as much, but it is a different product

A Japanese OP-17 box is 50 to 59% cheaper in shops than the English one: $127.88 instead of $310 in the US, €109.99 instead of €259.99 in Germany and 499.99 zł instead of 999 zł in Poland.

OP-17 box, cheapest in stockJPENJP vs. EN
US (USD)127.88310.00−58.7%
Germany (EUR)109.99259.99−57.7%
Poland (PLN)499.99999.00−50.0%

Data: CardPulse, lowest in-stock Booster Box OP-17 offer in each language, 29 Oct 2026. In Poland JP is one shop, in the US three, in Germany three.

For the new sets the JP advantage is not certain yet. The Japanese OP-18 box costs $299.99 in the US and €169.99 in Germany as a preorder, in each case from only one shop with stock. That is 134.6% and 54.5% more than the Japanese OP-17 box ($127.88 and €109.99).

We found no Japanese EB-05 box in stock in any of the three countries: in Germany five listings from €89.99 to €169.99 are unavailable, in the US one ($249.99), and in Poland there is no offer. For buyers this means the cheaper JP version is, for now, an argument for older sets, while at launch a single preorder listing does not set a market price.

Data: CardPulse, Japanese Booster Box offers in shops in Germany, the US and Poland, 29 Oct 2026, excluding Cardmarket.

In Japan itself the scale is different: Bandai's official EB-05 box price at its events is ¥5,760 (24 packs at ¥240), about $37 according to the source. Shop prices for JP boxes in our data ($127.88 or €109.99) are roughly three times that, although we are comparing different sets here, so it is only an order of magnitude. Where the difference comes from (logistics, margin, demand) is a hypothesis.

Check three things before you compare prices: the card language, the pack size (6 cards in the Japanese version) and the rules of your tournament. We do not know every organizer's rules, so we do not claim Japanese cards are accepted everywhere. If you only collect or like opening packs, the cheaper JP box is often a sensible option. For tournament players, legality comes first.

Buy now, wait, or go for singles?

For most people the safest course is to avoid buying a box at peak prices in the first days and compare three routes instead: a box at today's price, a preorder near MSRP, and single cards. This is not investment advice, and prices can also rise.

OP-17 gives a reference point. According to NerdSnack, its box traded at roughly $345 to $405 in the eight weeks before release, at $339 in release week and at about $310 on 24 Oct 2026. That is 8.6% below release week and 23.5% below the top of the preorder range. Whether OP-18 follows the same path is unknown; it is a single predecessor.

  1. Ask locally. Ask your store whether it has an EB-05 or OP-18 allocation close to MSRP; both cited guides call that the cheapest option.
  2. Work out the price per pack. Divide the box price by 24 and compare it with a single pack.
  3. Look at every kind of offer. Shop, Cardmarket and the JP version are three different price ranges.
  4. Define your goal. Players need a handful of specific cards, collectors want the box or alt arts, and anyone holding sealed ties up cash.
  5. Set an alert. If there is no hurry, set a price alert and look again after two to four weeks.

For players it is usually cheaper to buy the singles they need after a few weeks, once prices have settled (as NerdSnack and Samurai Sword Tokyo advise). Anyone who wants a box on release day has to decide whether the current release price is worth the convenience. Anyone holding sealed for possible appreciation takes a risk: rises after a print run ends do happen, but nobody guarantees them.

Tip: open the price history in CardPulse, where you can switch between lowest price and median, and remember that our One Piece data starts on 24 Oct 2026. A short history does not yet show how the price behaves after release.

Compare current prices on the EB-05 Booster Box page, read the OP-18 guide and check dates in the One Piece release calendar. Collecting? Open the binder. Everything else is in the One Piece section, and OP-17 prices for comparison are on the OP-17 page.

Frequently asked questions

When do EB-05 and OP-18 release in English?
