In short
- A standard English booster holds 14 cards and a display holds 24 boosters, so 336 cards. riftbound.gg and shop descriptions both say so; Riot's Radiance Overview lists 15 booster slots including an information insert, so 14 is most likely the card count without the insert (our reading).
- The cheapest in-stock Radiance display (EN) comes to 22.88 zł (PL), €5.00 (DE) and $5.00 (US) per booster, almost exactly the cheapest single booster at 23.00 zł, €4.99 and $5.95.
- In the Radiance example the lowest in-stock price fell from the first offers in October to 30 Oct 2026 from 599 zł to 549 zł (−8.3%) in Poland, from €129.99 to €119.99 (−7.7%) in Germany and from $149 to $119 (−20.1%) in the US.
- Twelve single boosters at the lowest prices cost 276.00 zł in Poland, €59.88 in Germany and $71.40 in the US, while a whole display of 24 packs costs 549.00 zł, €119.99 and $119.99.
- The Radiance Vault holds six boosters, 36 runes, foil tokens and a storage box, and the cheapest in-stock copy costs 145.00 zł, €34.95 and $34.99.
Sealed prices in Riftbound only become comparable once you bring them to a common unit: price per booster and price per card. An example with Radiance (as of 30 Oct 2026, cheapest in-stock EN offers): a display works out to 22.88 zł per booster in Poland, €5.00 in Germany and $5.00 in the US, against 23.00 zł, €4.99 and $5.95 for a single booster.
In PL and DE that is hardly any difference; in the US the display is 16.0% cheaper per pack. The Vault costs more if you count only the six boosters inside: +5.1% in Poland, +16.7% in Germany, and 2.0% less in the US.
This guide shows how to bring a display, a Vault, a Showdown Deck and the Chinese Slim and Jumbo displays down to that common unit, so you can judge an offer in a minute and compare only products that are truly comparable. Prices from three markets (PL, DE, US) sit side by side, with no single country as the benchmark. The figures are from 30–31 Oct 2026 and serve as examples; current prices are on the Radiance display page.
A booster has 14 cards and a display 24 boosters: start with a common unit
A standard English booster holds 14 cards and a display holds 24 boosters, so 336 cards. riftbound.gg and shop descriptions both say so; Riot's Radiance Overview lists 15 booster slots including an information insert, so 14 is most likely the card count without the insert (our reading).
Every other product converts to the same unit. The steps:
- Find the contents. Check the description or the official page for how many boosters and how many ready-made cards are inside.
- Count the cards. English display: 24 × 14 = 336 cards, Chinese Slim: 24 × 5 = 120, Chinese Jumbo: 12 × 14 = 168.
- Divide the price. Display price divided by 24 gives the booster price; the price divided by the card count gives the card price.
- Keep lowest price and median apart. The lowest price is often one shop; the median shows what a typical buyer pays.
- Write down the language. English and Chinese editions are separate markets even when the titles look alike.
Data: playriftbound.com (Radiance Overview), riftbound.gg (product pages for Radiance and Origins), shop descriptions on cardcosmos.de, read on 31 Oct 2026.
Card count is not value, though. Several slots in an English booster are foil and rare cards, and the five-card Chinese Slim pack is built differently. Price per card compares prices; it does not tell you what will come out of the pack.
In PL and DE a display costs about the same per booster as a single pack, in the US 16% less
We described the launch and the first prices in our Radiance article; here we only show how to convert them to a per-booster figure.
The cheapest in-stock Radiance display (EN) comes to 22.88 zł (PL), €5.00 (DE) and $5.00 (US) per booster, almost exactly the cheapest single booster at 23.00 zł, €4.99 and $5.95. The gap is −0.5% in Poland, +0.2% in Germany and −16.0% in the US.
On Cardmarket, a marketplace where shipping is set by each seller, the lowest display is €102.00, or €4.25 per booster, against €4.00 for a single booster (+6.3%). On the 7-day average the display costs €114.98 (€4.79 per booster) and the booster €5.16, so by that measure the display is 7.2% cheaper per pack.
Data: CardPulse, cheapest in-stock EN offers in shops in PL, DE and the US (30 Oct 2026), plus the lowest listing and 7-day average on Cardmarket (31 Oct 2026). In-stock offers: display 9 in PL, 9 in DE, 9 in the US; booster 13, 7 and 5.
| Radiance EN, in stock | PL (zł) | DE (€) | US ($) | Cardmarket (€, marketplace, not a country) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Single booster, lowest / median | 23.00 / 25.00 | 4.99 / 5.99 | 5.95 / 6.50 | 4.00 / 5.16 (7-day average) |
| Display, lowest / median | 549.00 / 579.00 | 119.99 / 129.00 | 119.99 / 129.99 | 102.00 / 114.98 (7-day average) |
| Display ÷ 24, lowest / median | 22.88 / 24.13 | 5.00 / 5.38 | 5.00 / 5.42 | 4.25 / 4.79 |
| Display in shops: in stock / all listings | 9 / 19 | 9 / 15 | 9 / 16 | 1,441 units listed |
In PL and DE a display was not a bulk discount on boosters in this example: you mainly save time and get the whole box from one seller in one parcel. If you only want a few packs, the cheapest single booster at a shop with fair shipping is often just as good.
Always compare the same unit. The cheapest display and the cheapest single booster come from two different shops, so add each one's shipping before you decide.
In the US, riftbound.gg lists the suggested price of the Radiance display at $119.99 (Riot's own page gives no price), and the cheapest in-stock shop offer is exactly that. For Poland and Germany we found no official price, so we compare nothing against one. The "MSRP" lines on CardPulse price pages are fixed values per product type rather than a manufacturer figure, and we do not use them here.

💰 Compare prices →How does a display price change after launch? The Radiance example
After launch a display price moves, and the direction depends on the market. In the Radiance example the lowest in-stock price fell from the first offers in October to 30 Oct 2026 from 599 zł to 549 zł (−8.3%) in Poland, from €129.99 to €119.99 (−7.7%) in Germany and from $149 to $119 (−20.1%) in the US. At the same time the number of shops grew from 1–3 offers before release to 9–12 after it.
Data: CardPulse, lowest in-stock offer of the day (excluding Cardmarket), 4–30 Oct 2026; the series for Poland and the US starts on 8 Oct. In the US the series shows $119.00 while the current offer list shows $119.99: the difference comes from different reading times and does not change the conclusion.
In our launch report of 23 Oct we gave 439 zł as the display's lowest price. We checked that offer again: it was a regular Radiance Booster Display (24 boosters, 336 cards according to the shop description) at a single Polish shop, listed as a pre-order. In our data it was in stock for only three days (21–23 Oct); since 24 Oct the shop has shown it as unavailable, and the lowest price of the day jumped to 529.99 zł. It was 20.0% below the 549 zł of 30 Oct. So we treat it as a single, short-lived deal rather than a market price.
After release the cheapest offers often vanish because the best price sells first. If you see a low point in the history, check that the offer is still in stock before you treat it as the market price.
Worked example: 12 single boosters or a whole display
Twelve single boosters at the lowest prices cost 276.00 zł in Poland, €59.88 in Germany and $71.40 in the US, while a whole display of 24 packs costs 549.00 zł, €119.99 and $119.99. If you only need half, the display makes no sense: you pay for twelve packs you do not want.
The sums only flip at 24 packs. Twenty-four single boosters cost 552.00 zł, €119.76 and $142.80, which puts the display 3.00 zł cheaper in Poland (−0.5%), €0.23 dearer in Germany (+0.2%) and $22.81 cheaper in the US (−16.0%). We use the prices of 30 Oct 2026 and leave shipping out.
- Decide how many packs you want. For 6–12 packs choose single boosters or a Vault; for 24 consider the display.
- Add shipping. One parcel with a display is often cheaper than several, but buying boosters and a display at two shops lets the second shipping fee eat the difference.
- Check availability. A price from the history does not help if the shop has zero units.
In Poland and Germany the display is no bargain, while in the US it is 16.0% cheaper per pack at the lowest prices and 16.6% at the medians ($5.42 against $6.50). This sets one shop's booster against another shop's display, so judge a deal only after comparing several offers.
Vault and Showdown Deck: what you are really paying for
Both products went on sale with the Radiance launch (see the launch article), so the numbers below are an example from the first week.
The Radiance Vault holds six boosters, 36 runes, foil tokens and a storage box, and the cheapest in-stock copy costs 145.00 zł, €34.95 and $34.99. Six single boosters at the lowest prices cost 138.00 zł, €29.94 and $35.70, so the rest of the contents costs you 7.00 zł (+5.1%), €5.01 (+16.7%) and nothing in the US, where the Vault is $0.71 (−2.0%) cheaper.
At the medians the gap is wider: 159.45 zł for the Vault against 150.00 zł for six boosters (+9.45 zł), €39.90 against €35.94 (+€3.96) and $48.97 against $39.00 (+$9.97). Whether 36 runes and the box are worth a few euros to you depends on whether you play or only open packs.
The Evelynn vs Seraphine Showdown Deck is, according to riftbound.gg, two 56-card decks, two Radiance boosters, two playmats and a rulebook. That is a single source; the official page describes decks, runes and battlefields but gives neither the booster count nor a price. Taking 140 cards (2 × 56 + 2 × 14), the cheapest in-stock deck works out at 0.83 zł per card in Poland, €0.21 in Germany and $0.14 in the US.
| Radiance EN, in stock | PL (zł) | DE (€) | US ($) | Cardmarket (€, marketplace, not a country) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vault, lowest / median | 145.00 / 159.45 | 34.95 / 39.90 | 34.99 / 48.97 | 28.90 / 32.49 (7-day average) |
| Vault minus boosters (vs 6 × cheapest booster) | +7.00 (+5.1%) | +5.01 (+16.7%) | −0.71 (−2.0%) | +4.90 (+20.4%) |
| Showdown Deck, lowest / median | 115.99 / 132.00 | 29.95 / 32.50 | 19.00 / 29.95 | 18.90 / 22.52 (7-day average) |
| Showdown Deck ÷ 140 cards (lowest) | 0.83 | 0.21 | 0.14 | 0.14 |
| Display ÷ 336 cards (lowest) | 1.63 | 0.36 | 0.36 | 0.30 |
Data: CardPulse, lowest and median of in-stock EN offers in shops (30 Oct 2026) and Cardmarket (31 Oct 2026); offers: Vault 12 in PL, 7 in DE, 8 in the US, Showdown Deck 17, 11 and 9. Contents: playriftbound.com, riftbound.gg.
Per card, the deck costs 51% of the display price in Poland (0.83 zł against 1.63 zł), 60% in Germany (€0.21 against €0.36) and 38% in the US ($0.14 against $0.36), so it is 49%, 40% and 62% cheaper. That does not make the deck the better buy for everyone. The cards in the deck are known and those in the display are random, so a player cares about playability and a collector about the odds of rare cards.
The Pre-Rift Kit (per the Radiance page, five boosters and a "seeded Pre-Rift pack" tied to the set's new Legends) was designed for the Pre-Rift events at local stores (16–22 Oct 2026). Online we found it at 129–150 zł in Poland, €59.99 in Germany and $45.95 in the US, but with one offer each in DE and the US, so we do not compare that price.
Chinese Slim and Jumbo: cheap in total, not always per card
A Chinese Slim display holds 24 boosters of 5 cards, so 120 cards, and a Jumbo holds 12 large boosters of 14 cards, so 168 cards. A lower shelf price, for example €39.99 for a Slim against €169.95 for an English Spiritforged display in German shops, is therefore not the same offer for less money.
An example from 30 Oct 2026: per card (Spiritforged, cheapest in-stock offers) the Slim is 3.8% cheaper in Poland, 34.2% in Germany and 17.6% in the US, and the Jumbo is cheaper by 8.4%, 23.5% and 11.9%. The spread is wide, though: in the Unleashed example (also 30 Oct 2026) the Polish Slim costs the same per card as the English display (2.08 zł) and the Polish Jumbo is 42.9% dearer (2.98 zł).
Data: CardPulse, cheapest in-stock shop offer, 30 Oct 2026; Spiritforged: PL 7 EN offers, 2 Slim, 2 Jumbo; DE 9, 4, 3; US 4, 1, 1. Cards: shop descriptions (cardcosmos.de), our own conversion.
| Lowest price per card, in stock | PL (zł) | DE (€) | US ($) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unleashed, EN display | 2.083 (1 offer) | 0.446 (3) | 0.521 (5) |
| Unleashed, Chinese Slim | 2.083 (2) | 0.291 (6) | 0.416 (2) |
| Unleashed, Chinese Jumbo | 2.976 (1) | 0.327 (5) | 0.446 (1) |
| Spiritforged, EN display | 2.080 (7) | 0.506 (9) | 0.506 (4) |
| Spiritforged, Chinese Slim | 2.000 (2) | 0.333 (4) | 0.417 (1) |
| Spiritforged, Chinese Jumbo | 1.905 (2) | 0.387 (3) | 0.446 (1) |
The Chinese edition is a different product from the English one, not a cheaper version of it. The card text is Chinese, and tournaments may set limits.
According to a ruling in the riftjudge database dated 14 Feb 2026, cards in different languages may be mixed as long as all sit in identical opaque sleeves, and a judge can treat the deck as marked if cards can be told apart. A single language is recommended for the main deck and the rune deck.
That database is community-run, not an official rulebook: check the current Tournament Rules with your organiser.
When you buy singles on Cardmarket, note that since 8 Dec 2025 Chinese has been its own language attribute on a listing, and a seller's comment does not replace it. Radiance launched in English, French and Chinese, and Proving Grounds, 2nd Edition is announced in English, Chinese, French and Korean (announcement on playriftbound.com, as of 31 Oct 2026).
Older sets: dearer per booster in DE and the US, mixed in PL
In Germany and the US the booster in older sets' displays costs more than in Radiance: in DE from +25.0% (Unleashed) to +58.2% (Origins, €7.91 against €5.00), in the US from +9.2% (Vendetta) to +83.3% (Origins, $9.17 against $5.00). The rise does not follow set age evenly, though: in DE Unleashed is cheaper than Vendetta, in the US Spiritforged is cheaper than Unleashed.
In Poland the picture is mixed: Vendetta +18.2%, Unleashed +27.5% (one offer), Spiritforged +27.3%, Origins +1.1% with three offers. This is an example with data from 30 Oct 2026.
| EN display ÷ 24, cheapest in stock | PL (zł), in stock / all | DE (€) | US ($) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Radiance (release 23 Oct 2026) | 22.88 (9 / 19) | 5.00 (9 / 15) | 5.00 (9 / 16) |
| Vendetta | 27.04 (3 / 18) | 6.48 (5 / 13) | 5.46 (7 / 19) |
| Unleashed | 29.16 (1 / 14) | 6.25 (3 / 14) | 7.29 (5 / 17) |
| Spiritforged | 29.12 (7 / 11) | 7.08 (9 / 18) | 7.08 (4 / 15) |
| Origins | 23.12 (3 / 18), median 37.50 | 7.91 (9 / 18) | 9.17 (8 / 17) |
Data: CardPulse, cheapest in-stock EN display in shops, 30 Oct 2026; "all" also counts sold-out offers that remain in the list.
Origins in Poland shows how misleading a minimum can be on its own: the three in-stock offers cost 554.95 zł, 899.90 zł and 1,019.00 zł, so the lowest gives 23.12 zł per booster and the median 37.50 zł. Why the newest set is cheaper in DE and the US, we do not know.
One hypothesis is that shops compete harder on price in launch week and hold full stock. For older sets, always look at the number of offers and the median.
Anyone completing sets should allow extra time: an older display can be in stock at only 1–3 shops in a market. Anyone who just wants to open a few packs pays least per booster with the newest set; an older one is worth it only after you check current prices on the product pages.
How to read an offer title: a checklist before you buy
In the "Booster Display" category of CardPulse data we met several title types that are easy to confuse. Check them in this order before you click "buy":
- Display, Booster Box, Booster Display. The same product (24 boosters). "Box" alone says nothing about language.
- Slim, Jumbo, CHN, S-CHN. A Chinese display. If the title only says "Booster Box (CHN)", you cannot tell whether it holds 120 or 168 cards. We did not compare such offers.
- Cards per booster. 14 is English, 5 is the Chinese Slim. Shops often give this in the description, not the title.
- Pack, Vault, Pre-Rift Kit, Showdown Deck. These are not displays. We saw an offer named "Display Pack" at $5.49 that, going by its price, is a single booster.
- Pre-order. An announced price is not the price of goods you can have now. Check the delivery date.
We also made a mistake of our own: until 29 Oct 2026, titles such as "Showdown Deck Display (4 Decks)" could end up in the "Booster Display" category on CardPulse. The fix changed the category of a single offer. The same pattern turns up in every shop, so always read the word "Display" in a title together with the rest of the name.
Search the shop page for the number 24 and the word "booster". If the listing lacks it, read the description before you buy.
Who should buy what: playing, collecting or opening
Your goal matters more than the lowest price: players usually pay least for ready-made decks, pack openers take a display or boosters, and sealed collectors watch the median and the offer count. This is not investment advice, and prices can change daily.
- Players. The Showdown Deck gives two ready decks of 56 cards and is the cheapest per card (0.83 zł in PL, €0.21 in DE, $0.14 in the US by the lowest offers). Buy singles on top to upgrade.
- Pack openers. The display pays off if you want 24 boosters at once; the price per pack is close to a single booster in PL and DE, and was 16% lower in the US in this example. For a few packs, single boosters are enough.
- Sealed collectors. Older sets cost more per booster and are in stock less often; work with the median and the offer count. The Chinese Slim has different contents and does not replace an English display.
- Vault buyers. The Vault pays off if you need the runes and the box. In the Radiance example it cost between 2.0% less (US) and 16.7% more (DE) than six of the cheapest single boosters.
Current offers and the lowest-price history are on the pages for the Radiance display, Radiance boosters, Champion and Showdown decks and Vaults and special products. Older sets are under, for example, the Spiritforged display, and the Radiance guide gives an overview. So you do not miss a good price, you can set a price alert in the Riftbound section; it needs a free account.

Frequently asked questions
How many cards are in a Riftbound booster and display?
An EN booster has 14 cards and a display 24 boosters, so 336 cards (riftbound.gg, shop descriptions). Riot's Radiance page lists 15 slots, including an information insert.
Is a display cheaper per booster than a single pack?
It depends on the market. For Radiance (30 Oct 2026, cheapest in-stock offers) a display came to 22.88 zł vs 23.00 zł in PL, €5.00 vs €4.99 in DE and $5.00 vs $5.95 in the US, so −0.5%, +0.2% and −16.0% per booster.
What is in the Radiance Vault?
Six boosters, 36 runes, foil tokens and a storage box (playriftbound.com). In the 30 Oct 2026 example the Vault cost between 2.0% less (US) and 16.7% more (DE) than six of the cheapest single boosters.
Is a Chinese Slim display cheaper than an English one?
In total yes, per card not always. A Slim has 120 cards (24 × 5), an EN display 336. For Spiritforged the Slim was 3.8% cheaper per card in PL, 34.2% in DE and 17.6% in the US.
Can you play Chinese cards in tournaments?
A riftjudge database ruling dated 14 Feb 2026 allows mixing languages in identical opaque sleeves, but it is not an official rulebook. Ask your organiser.
How do I tell a real display listing from a single pack?
Look for the number 24 and the word booster, check the price (a few dollars means one pack) and watch for Slim, Jumbo, Vault, Pre-Rift Kit or Showdown Deck in the title.
