In short

  • The English version has 103 main-set cards and 38 secret rares (numbers 104 to 141), while Storm Emeralda had 76 main-set cards and 37 secret rares, 113 in all.
  • Data: wargamer.com (Oct 26, 2026), pokeguardian.com (Oct 29, 2026), icv2.com (Oct 30, 2026), billsarchive.com (accessed Nov 3, 2026).
  • The top of the list holds 6 SIRs (numbers 135 to 140) and 1 Mega Hyper Rare (No.
  • The set contains 3 Legendary Stadiums made of 6 Uncommon cards (numbers 094 to 099), and each half has to be combined with the other from your hand.
  • The English booster has 10 cards (the Japanese one has 5) and the Elite Trainer Box holds 9 packs, so the price per pack depends on the product.

The English Delta Reign (out November 6, 2026) is not a straight port of Japan's Storm Emeralda. The main set grows from 76 to 103 cards, and the full-art Mega Rayquaza ex is missing from the packs according to Wargamer (Oct 26, 2026) and will only arrive on February 12, 2027 in a separate box. These are the changes that matter for boosters, ETBs and collection boxes, with prices from November 3, 2026 for Poland, Germany and the US.

The main set grows by 27 cards, to 141 entries in total

The English version has 103 main-set cards and 38 secret rares (numbers 104 to 141), while Storm Emeralda had 76 main-set cards and 37 secret rares, 113 in all. That is 27 more cards in the main set and one more among the secret rares.

Data: pokecottage.com (card list, accessed Nov 3, 2026), billsarchive.com (accessed Nov 3, 2026), Samurai Sword Tokyo (Japanese version, Oct 23, 2026), our card list in the Delta Reign guide.

Where do the extra cards come from? According to pokecottage, 27 cards were added from Japan's MEGA Starter Decks, including Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex. Billsarchive counts differently: 30 starter-deck cards were added and 3 removed, which nets out the same (76 + 30 − 3 = 103). Two separate tallies agree on the main set.

One gap remains: the same site gets 113 + 30 − 3 = 140 for the whole set, not 141. The missing card could be explained by secret rares rising from 37 to 38, but that is our inference, not confirmation from the publisher.

Tiles: main-set cards 76 → 103, secret rares 37 → 38, total 113 → 141, 5 → 10 cards per pack, 30 → 36 packs per box
The key numbers: Japan's Storm Emeralda against the English Delta Reign, as of Nov 3, 2026.

The English rarity split according to pokecottage: 50 Common, 33 Uncommon, 10 Rare, 10 Double Rare, 14 Illustration Rare, 17 Ultra Rare, 6 Special Illustration Rare and 1 Mega Hyper Rare. That adds up to 103 in the main set and 38 secret rares, so the table is internally consistent.

Three cards dropped out of the set, and one of them was a chase card

Three cards are missing from the English set: the full-art Mega Rayquaza ex (Ultra Rare), the regular Eevee ex and the Kyogre Illustration Rare, which now sit in other products.

Data: wargamer.com (Oct 26, 2026), pokeguardian.com (Oct 29, 2026), icv2.com (Oct 30, 2026), billsarchive.com (accessed Nov 3, 2026).

  • Full-art Mega Rayquaza ex. Wargamer reports it is absent from the English list, while the SIR and the Mega Hyper Rare stayed. It goes into the Premium Tournament Collection, out February 12, 2027.
  • Eevee ex. The regular Eevee ex from the starter decks did not make the set. The list only has the plain Eevee (No. 078) and the Illustration Rare Eevee (No. 114).
  • Kyogre Illustration Rare. This card is the Elite Trainer Box promo (MEP 117), so it is not included in boosters. Wargamer suggests this could open a price gap to the Groudon.

The Premium Tournament Collection costs $49.99 (US list price, pokeguardian.com). It holds 4 foil promos (Mega Rayquaza ex, Zinnia's Trust, Adventure Lantern, Mega Rayquaza Cap), 2 cards that form the Legendary Summit, 65 Dragon Shield sleeves, a deck box, a coin and 8 booster packs.

For collectors, the full-art Mega Rayquaza stops being a pack pull and becomes a guaranteed card in a $49.99 product. In Japan the card we believe corresponds to it (SR 095/076) had an asking price of about ¥2,400 on September 29, 2026, around $16. That match is ours and not confirmed by the publisher, but it suggests the cut card was not among the most expensive ones.

English chase cards: seven cards at the top of the rarity ladder

The top of the list holds 6 SIRs (numbers 135 to 140) and 1 Mega Hyper Rare (No. 141), so 7 cards that line up with Japan's SARs and the MUR.

Data: pokecottage.com (card list, Nov 3, 2026), billsarchive.com (Nov 3, 2026), Samurai Sword Tokyo (Japanese list, Sep 30, 2026).

  • Mega Rayquaza ex. It comes in three versions: Double Rare (No. 084), SIR (No. 138) and gold Mega Hyper Rare (No. 141). In Japan the Mega Hyper Rare is the MUR 113/076.
  • The other SIRs. Mega Golisopod ex (135), Raikou ex (136), Mega Golurk ex (137), Aarune (139) and Zinnia's Trust (140). The order matches Japan's SARs 107 to 112, so Aarune is probably the card listed in Japan as Gilly; that is our match by number.
  • Mega Malamar ex. Japan has no SAR or MUR of it, only an SR. In the English set the card is confirmed in the main set.

Samurai Sword Tokyo points out that no official source confirms the English rarity names card by card. We base the SAR → SIR match on the equal count (6 and 6) and on the number order.

Legendary Stadium is a new mechanic with cards that come in pairs

The set contains 3 Legendary Stadiums made of 6 Uncommon cards (numbers 094 to 099), and each half has to be combined with the other from your hand.

Data: billsarchive.com (accessed Nov 3, 2026), serebii.net (card list, Nov 3, 2026), pokeguardian.com (reveal of Aug 20, 2026).

Per Pokeguardian, a booster that contains a Legendary Stadium holds both halves. Under the usual four-copy rule at most two complete pairs of the same Stadium fit in a deck; that is our assumption, as we found no rules text for Legendary Stadium in the sources.

Effects are described for two of them. Legendary Summit means a player takes one fewer Prize card when a Colorless Pokémon is Knocked Out, and Legendary Pyroduct turns off the Abilities of all Evolution Pokémon in play, for both players. That description comes from a single fan site, so check the official card text after release.

The sources disagree on the name of the third pair (098 to 099). Serebii writes Legendary Trench, billsarchive Legendary Ocean Trench, and a forum thread at Elite Fourum Legendary Abyss. So we list none of the names as certain.

This is a hypothesis, not a tournament result: Pyroduct could weaken decks built around Evolution Abilities, while Summit helps against Colorless decks. Real tournament data will take time, because tournament legality starts on November 20, 2026 according to billsarchive.

Products: 10 cards per pack, a 9-pack ETB and an 18-pack half box

The English booster has 10 cards (the Japanese one has 5) and the Elite Trainer Box holds 9 packs, so the price per pack depends on the product.

Data: pokeguardian.com (US list prices in USD, Aug 20, 2026), seller.tcgplayer.com (Oct 21, 2026, prices from Oct 19, 2026), billsarchive.com (accessed Nov 3, 2026).

ProductContentsList price (US)

Booster Bundle6 packs$26.94
Elite Trainer Box9 packs, accessories, Kyogre promo (MEP 117)$49.99
Pokémon Center ETB11 packs$59.99
Build & Battle Box4 packs, 40-card deck, promo$21.99
Display (36 packs)36 packs$161.64

These sources give no list prices for Europe. What we do know is the preorder at the UK Pokémon Center: ETB £56.99, bundle £25.99 and display £151.99 (billsarchive.com, accessed Nov 3, 2026).

The range also includes a 3-pack blister with a Seel promo (MEP 116), several checklane blisters and the Build & Battle Box with four prerelease promos (Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus, Kommo-o). Prerelease ran from October 24 to November 1, 2026, and the set arrives in Pokémon TCG Live on November 5, 2026.

Doubling the cards per pack also changes any comparison with Japan. A Japanese pack costs ¥200 (official price, Samurai Sword Tokyo) for 5 cards, which is ¥40 a card. At ¥154 to the dollar on September 29, 2026 that is roughly $0.26 per card, while an English booster at $4.49 works out to about $0.45 per card, around 1.7 times as much. It is a rough estimate, since exchange rates and taxes differ.

The English set also has a half display with 18 packs. In our data Cardmarket lists it at €119 (€6.61 per pack) and the full 36-pack display at €204 (€5.67 per pack). The smaller format lets you start with less money but costs more per pack.

In the US there is also a store promo for purchases of $15 or more (billsarchive.com): Kyogre at Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, BoxLunch and Macy's, Groudon at GameStop, Giratina at Best Buy. We found no such promotion for Poland or Germany in our sources.

Chase prices: Japanese asking prices for Mega Rayquaza fell about 78% in two months

The Japanese asking price of Mega Rayquaza ex (MUR) fell from ¥298,000 (Jul 31, 2026) to ¥65,000 (asking price for a raw card, Sep 29, 2026), a drop of 78%.

Data: Samurai Sword Tokyo (Jul 31, 2026, secondary market; Aug 19 and Sep 29, 2026, SNKRDUNK asks, not sales). The sources measure differently, so treat the values as rough guides.

Chart: MUR Mega Rayquaza ex price ¥298,000, about ¥135,000, ¥65,000 and SAR ¥138,000, up to ¥54,880, ¥29,800
Price drop of Japan's Mega Rayquaza ex over 2 months. Asking prices, not sales.

The SAR Mega Rayquaza ex fell from ¥138,000 to ¥29,800, also 78%. Both cards lose about the same share, which points to a decline across the whole set rather than one card. That is a hypothesis; three data points from three sources are not enough for a firm conclusion.

The English counterparts are the Mega Hyper Rare (No. 141) and the SIR (No. 138). English prices do not exist yet, and tcgwatchtower.com expects presale prices to start above the Japanese ones and fall later, following the earlier Pitch Black set. That is the author's opinion, not a fact.

Pull odds according to billsarchive (an estimate from earlier sets, not a measurement): Double Rare 1 in 5, Illustration Rare 1 in 9, Ultra Rare 1 in 12, SIR about 1 in 80, Mega Hyper Rare 1 in 950 to 1 in 1,800. For sealed buyers, a Mega Hyper Rare in a single pack is an extremely rare event.

Sealed prices: of the products compared, the ETB costs the most per pack, the display is only a yardstick

The cheapest ETB costs 369 zł in Poland (41.00 zł per pack), $89 in the US ($9.89 per pack) and, per Cardmarket, €85.99 in Germany (€9.55 per pack). The claim that the ETB costs the most per pack covers only the products compared in the chart; the Build & Battle Box costs more per pack in the US and Germany.

Data: CardPulse, lowest available offers in stock or on preorder, Nov 3, 2026; for Germany Cardmarket offers in EUR. The table and text give the cheapest offer in the list on Nov 3, 2026 and are the authoritative values. For direction: the daily lowest-price series for the ETB at CardPulse (a different measure from the list) sits at about 370 zł in Poland on both Oct 29 and Nov 3, with a dip to about 344 zł on Nov 1 to 2; US about $100 → about $90; Germany about €75 → about €86. The fact check of Oct 29 quoted the cheapest offer on its cut-off day, so its figures can differ from the daily series without contradiction. The German shops in our overview currently have few items in stock.

In the US, an ETB at $89 is 78% above the list price of $49.99 (seller.tcgplayer.com). On TCGplayer the market price of the ETB on October 29, 2026 was $104.98, 2.1 times list, the bundle $49.85 (1.85 times) and the display $229.71 (42% more). These are presale prices and can change after release.

In Poland a booster at 22.00 zł and a pack out of the display (789 zł for 36, or 21.92 zł) cost practically the same. In the US the display is cheaper: $5.56 per pack against $6.50 for a single booster. Some Polish offers are preorders, so final prices may differ.

Availability differs too. In Poland the ETB has 19 shops in stock or on preorder today with a median of 380 zł (range 369 to 450 zł), in the US 11 shops with a median of $99.99 (range $89 to $124.99). The German shops in our data show only a few items in stock right now, so for Germany we quote Cardmarket as a reference point, not a shop comparison.

The Booster Bundle is in 2 shops in Poland and 11 in the US. The number of offers decides how easily you find a good price, so compare several sources instead of a single offer.

What the changes mean for players, collectors and sealed buyers

Three changes matter most for buyers: 10 cards per pack, no full-art Mega Rayquaza in the packs and 3 Legendary Stadium pairs in the Uncommon pool.

  • Players. The Legendary Stadiums are new Uncommons, but each half is priced separately: Legendary Pyroduct sits at about $4.99 per half in TCGplayer presale (Oct 29, 2026). It is worth waiting for the first tournament results after November 20, 2026 (that legality date comes from billsarchive only).
  • Card collectors. The full-art Mega Rayquaza ex is in the Premium Tournament Collection (Feb 12, 2027). If you want it, there is no need to open packs for it.
  • Sealed collectors. The Pokémon Center ETB (11 packs) is $295 in TCGplayer presale (Oct 29, 2026), almost five times the list price of $59.99. It is a niche product, so watch prices rather than buy under pressure.
  • Sealed investors. The Japanese example shows chase cards get cheaper after release. That is no forecast for the English set, but it argues against buying at presale prices without a plan.

Tip: when you compare products, always work out the price per pack and check what comes besides the boosters. The ETB adds a promo, sleeves and accessories, so price per pack alone does not decide whether it is a good buy.

What the community says about the changes

Players and collectors keep coming back to three topics: the Kyogre promo in the ETB, the missing full-art Mega Rayquaza and the delay compared with Japan.

Data: forum thread on Delta Reign at Elite Fourum (accessed Nov 3, 2026), Wargamer (Oct 26, 2026). We paraphrase opinions and leave out usernames.

In the thread people praised the ETB design and saw the Kyogre promo as a big plus for buyers, though some would have preferred Groudon. Others noted this is already the third Rayquaza-themed ETB.

There were also worries about leaks, with a nod to 30th Celebration, and a view that the gap of about 14 weeks before the English release points to a trust problem between the two publishers. Those are opinions, not confirmed facts.

Some plan to buy singles for binders instead of packs, and one voice is starting a first sealed collection. Wargamer called the cut of the full-art Mega Rayquaza surprising and noted that many collectors chase exactly these cards, because they are easier to get than the SIRs.

Check an offer in five steps before you buy

Before buying Delta Reign, 5 steps of a few minutes keep you from overpaying.

  1. Check the variant. It has to be the English edition (EN) and exactly the product you want (ETB, bundle, blister, Build & Battle).
  2. Work out the price per pack. Divide an ETB by 9, a bundle by 6, a 3-pack blister by 3.
  3. Look at the price history. On the pages for the Delta Reign ETB and the booster bundle you can see whether the price falls after release.
  4. Separate preorders from stock. Some shops show offers with quantity limits and later delivery.
  5. Set a price alert. With a free account you can get a notification when the price reaches your target.

In an earlier article we described which details about Delta Reign are confirmed and where sources conflict. The next dates are in the release calendar, and current offers in the Delta Reign booster price comparison. We also covered preorder prices for ETBs and boosters in an earlier price report.

What we do not know

Some things remain unconfirmed. That the full-art Mega Rayquaza is missing from the set is reported consistently by Wargamer, Pokeguardian and billsarchive; what is not settled is which Japanese SR the cut card matches, the exact name of one Stadium, one card in the total of 141 and how prices behave after release.

Wargamer (Oct 26, 2026) reports the card is missing from the English list after comparing lists, and Pokeguardian and billsarchive confirm it; matching it to Japan's SR 095/076 and the tally of three cut cards are our inference. The November 20, 2026 tournament legality comes from billsarchive only. We match Aarune to Gilly by card number, without confirmation.

The Stadium effect descriptions and pull odds come from fan sites. The Japanese prices are asking prices from different sources, so the 78% is an order of magnitude, not a measurement. We do not know how English card prices will develop, and this is not investment advice.

We will check ETB and booster prices two weeks after release and add the result.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards does the English Delta Reign have?

The main set has 103 cards, and with 38 secret rares there are 141 entries (pokecottage.com, billsarchive.com, Nov 3, 2026). Japan's Storm Emeralda had 76 main-set cards and 113 entries.
